After taking a breakthrough pole position and a win in 2015 team principal Paul McNeilly felt the time was right for him to take a step back and take more of an active role in building the team and focus on his sons Liam McNeilly's karting program. This will see the youngest member of Fox Motorsport contest a dual Campaign in Formula Kart Starts and the Super One Championship.
Fox Motorsport is looking to include more young drivers in its dedicated Karting program, bringing its strong racing heritage and years of experience to a new generation.
Fox Motorsport is looking at taking young drivers from Karting and helping them move into Ginetta Junior Championship with the aid of our Ginetta G40 Junior, a car widely praised for its high safety ratings. Sporting a chassis 50 times stronger than the required FIA standard, as well as an MSA approved 100bhp restricted engine. It is the perfect vehicle to the next stage in any budding racers' career.
We will be offering discrete taster track days where young racers can try out the G40 junior at facilities such as Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome. Providing excellent experience for those looking to advance to the next level of their career, supported by the decades of raceing expertise from our team of instructors and professional drivers
Joining the Fox motorsport team for his maiden year in car racing is Keaton Samra, who has already begun an intensive testing program before taking on the Ginetta Winter Series this year. Moving from a successful karting career Samra will be joining the team as an apprentice during the teams' British GT events to learn the art of GT racing from the ground up.
